Introduction: Procedures

The three activity intensities where:

- Having a student laying down at complete rest for ten minutes.

- Having a student do minor exercises for five minutes.

- Having a student do major exercises for five minutes.

The student would the the activity for the required amount of time, then after then metabolic rates would be taken as fast as possible in order to get a accurate result.

The intrusments that were used are:

- Oral thermometer

- Ordinary thermometer

- Spygmomanometer (blood pressure gauge)

- Piece of microscope tissue (for sweat)

- Stethoscope

The oral thermometer was used with a cover strip and it was disinfected with mouth wash before each use.
